On the 2nd of October 2025, the 1st InnoHSupport matchmaking event took place in the form of a dynamic online gathering to which took part innovative suppliers, investors, procurers, and other key stakeholders of the European healthcare procurement ecosystem.
InnoHSupport Matchmaking Event was designed as a dynamic online gathering designed to connect the innovative suppliers selected in the first Open Call, launched last February, with key stakeholders from the European healthcare procurement ecosystem, including public and private procurers, funding bodies, investors, accelerators, and strategic partners.
This engaging session facilitated targeted connections, knowledge exchange, and cross-sector collaboration to drive the adoption of cutting-edge healthcare solutions through innovation procurement.
The programme included a keynote speech on the topic of Strengthening Innovation Capacity in Health and Care Procurement given by Klaas Stek, Assistant Professor at the University of Twente. Ana Miquel Gomez, Innovation Reference in Primary Care at SERMAS, and Isabel Barragan, Project Manager at
Fundación Pública Andaluza Progreso y Salud presented their respective activities in public procurement, while participating investors and innovative suppliers gave a brief introduction of themselves before the innovative suppliers’ presentation sessions, where each supplier selected in Cohort 1 gave a 5-minutes pitch followed by a Q&A session.
All 35 participants had the opportunity to schedule One2One meetings with each other, allowing them to develop more targeted and individual follow-up.

The next InnoHSupport Online Matchmaking event will be held on February 5th 2026, and will showcase the Innovative Suppliers selected in the 2nd Cohort presenting their activities to investors and procurers.
