The Innovation Procurement Learning Toolkit provides a comprehensive set of digital learning resources designed for all key stakeholders in healthcare innovation procurement, with a particular focus on those with limited experience. These resources introduce innovation procurement goals and processes, address implementation challenges, and offer case studies to help navigate cultural barriers.
The toolkit enhances expertise in strategy development and key skills necessary to drive innovation, specifically by encouraging, leading, and embedding new innovative methods (e.g., market consultations, innovation partnerships), fostering changes in innovative practices (e.g., collaborating in multidisciplinary teams, managing co-design with innovative suppliers), and supporting shifts in attitude and culture (e.g., dealing with uncertainty in innovation initiatives).
It includes references to both external resources and materials developed within the framework of the InnoHSupport project. By building capacity across the healthcare innovation ecosystem, this learning resource equips all actors with the skills and knowledge needed to drive impactful and sustainable procurement-driven innovation.
