The InnoHSupport consortium successfully held its Midterm Meeting in Madrid on 8 October 2025, hosted by the project coordinator, the Science and Innovation Link Office (SILO). The meeting gathered all nine project partners, both onsite and online, to review progress, share lessons learnt, and plan the next steps to further strengthen innovation procurement in healthcare systems across Europe.

The meeting was also attended online by Christine Kriza , Project Officer at the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA), who provided valuable guidance on strengthening dissemination and exploitation strategies to ensure project results are visible and impactful beyond the project’s duration.

“The InnoHSupport project is making steady progress in healthcare procurement by providing practical resources like the Innovation Procurement Toolkit and a collection of Use Cases and Best Practices. These tools, accessible through the AGORA platform, offer specialized guidance on procurement methods such as Pre-Commercial Procurement (PCP), Public Procurement of Innovation (PPI), and Open Market Consultations (OMCs). The Repository of Best Practices further enriches the toolkit by documenting real-world procurement scenarios and lessons learned, facilitating knowledge exchange and capacity building across the innovation procurement community. Together, these resources help stakeholders better navigate challenges and encourage collaboration to advance healthcare procurement across Europe.”

Next steps for InnoHSupport
In the second half of the project, InnoHSupport will focus on ensuring the sustainability and exploitation of its main results. The consortium will continue developing the Executive Education Programme to equip professionals with advanced skills to drive health and social innovation, while expanding its Advisory Services to support the implementation and scaling of innovative healthcare solutions. The AGORA platform will remain at the heart of this effort, serving as a dynamic space for collaboration, co-creation and knowledge exchange among procurers, suppliers and innovation stakeholders.
In parallel, the project will strengthen the InnoHSupport Community to build a lasting network of organisations committed to advancing innovation in health and social care. Two key resources will support these actions: the Innovation Procurement Toolkit, which will continue to be hosted and updated within AGORA, and the Masterclass Canvas webpage, maintained by academic partners as an open and accessible source of training materials and lectures that ensure the project’s legacy beyond its duration.
